Delays in Garbage Service Updates

The Board had been informed by PMI that on November 13, 2024 we would have a new, 5 day a week pick up service. It seems there have been delays in getting that new service set up. After November 13 we were informed that the provider with whom we had signed up for 5 day a week service only comes to our part of Bloomington 4 days a week. It seems we are still receiving services from the same provider as we have for several years on that same 3 day a week schedule. The Board will continue to look into this and be speaking with PMI at December's board meeting.

As a reminder, please do not leave items outside of the dumpsters. Garbage trucks do not touch anything left outside of the dumpsters. We then have to pay separately, often around $100 per item, to have those removed. That costs you the neighborhood thousands of additional dollars per year. Money we could really use on better things.
