April 2024 Board Meeting

For our April board meeting the following were present:

Sarah Ransom with PMI

Charles Parker of the Board

Kyle Thompson of the Board.

We did not have a quorum to vote, so no major policies/decisions were made.

• We discussed Gigabit having access to install high speed fiber internet connections to the neighborhood. We discussed that the contract they presented  states that they are responsible to repair any damages to both existing infrastructure/utilities and any grounds/grasses damaged by Gigabit/their contractors.

• We discussed late fees related to a resident .

• We discussed the idea of adding an additional dues charge to the unit owners who have decks that will have to be paid for by the HOA. This would be similar to how the garage units pay a higher rate now. The small additional rate for the deck owners would be used to fund upkeep and replacement of those decks.

• We discussed getting messaging out to unit owners and those renting about the flags that will need to go up to mark utilities and tree planting.

• We discussed Sarah coming out to the neighborhood on Friday, April 12 to do our violations walk. At that same time, we plan to discuss banking and getting access in both directions (PMI and the Board) to the HOA accounts.

• We discussed two instances of there being holes in the siding on buildings and having someone come out to repair that damage.
