February 2025 Board Meeting

For our February board meeting, the following were present:

Kyle Thompson of the Board

Dave Underwood of the Board

James Kellar of the Board

Nova Kien of the Board

Suzanne O'Connell of Focus Property Management (30 minutes)

Matt Carter of Mackie Properties, LLC (45 minutes)

• The board invited the representatives from Mackie Properties, LLC and Focus Property Management to come speak the to board in follow up to their previous discussions with the board. This is as the board worked to make final decisions within this board meeting of the future of the neighborhood's property management. Each candidate had earlier spoken (prior to the board meeting) one on one with the board to discuss proposals for becoming the new property manager of Oaklawn Park.

• After speaking with both representatives, the board voted. Kyle (President) abstained from the vote. All remaining board members voted in favor of Focus Property Management.

• The board reviewed different color options for the updating of the Oaklawn Park entrance sign. The board voted unanimously on one option to move forward. This is with Station 43 Design.

• The board discussed the resignation earlier in the day of Charles Parker from the Oaklawn Park HOA board. The board will need to continue discussions in filling that seat until the term was otherwise due to end at the 2025 annual meeting in July. Those interested should notify the board.
