Lights Out

The board and PMI are aware that we have lights out in the common areas. The entrance sign had already lost electricity earlier. The mailbox shelter has now lost electricity. The floodlights attached to the building next to the mailbox shelter have also gone out. Those are the floodlights that light the parking area near the central mailboxes and that center of the neighborhood.

PMI already has an electrician scheduled to come to repair the entrance sign electricity on October 14. I've asked PMI to see if the electrician can add review/repair of the other two problem areas to that scheduled visit.

I've also asked PMI if we can evaluate while this repair is underway updating the lighting in the very bright, very white floodlights to a softer lighting. Perhaps having less of prison yard bright/white lighting. Maybe a softer lighting would be more welcoming and be less intrusive at night into homes while residents try to sleep. Yet at the same time, still providing lighting to that central area.
